Pinchin Architects has worked with Reve Developments for over 5 years in a mutually beneficial partnership. In early 2013, our development clients purchased a disused commercial site on the Harringay Ladder. The unoccupied site was a concrete back-land plot that sits behind terraced Victorian houses. This originally residential land was hit by a V1 bomb strike in the Second World War and subsequently has consisted of garages and a scrap yard for over 40 years.
Pinchin Architects achieved planning permission to transform this derelict site into a high-quality residential mews that delivers three 2-bedroom houses for private sale. The new properties provide off-street parking, landscaped private front and rear gardens and generous split-level open plan living. Luxury interiors with high-end detailing, finishes and fittings were designed in collaboration with Mimi Dietrich, the Design Director at Reve Developments.
The properties are highly insulated and have solar panels, sustainable semi-permeable drainage solutions, rainwater butts and many other energy-saving features, achieving a Code for Sustainable Homes Level of 4.
